Vision of KMPI
The vision of KMPI is “Human Resource Development, Economic Development and Improve livelihood through Technical and Vocational Education and Training”. History of KMPI
KMPI was established in 2005 as part of the government’s initiative to expand technical education for women. The institute started with two departments: Computer Technology and Electronics Technology. Later, three more departments were added: Civil Technology, Environmental Technology, and Architecture & Interior Design Technology. The current principal of KMPI is Kazi Neamul Shaheen.

- Electronics Technology: This department trains the students in various aspects of electronics devices, circuits, systems, communication, instrumentation, etc. The department has 50 seats per batch.
- Civil Technology: This department trains the students in various aspects of civil engineering, such as construction, design, surveying, materials, soil mechanics, etc. The department has 100 seats per batch.
- Environmental Technology: This department trains the students in various aspects of environmental engineering, such as pollution control, waste management, water treatment, renewable energy, etc. The department has 50 seats per batch.
- Architecture & Interior Design Technology: This department trains the students in various aspects of architecture and interior design, such as drawing, planning, modeling, rendering, decoration, etc. The department has 50 seats per batch.
Admission Process of KMPI
The admission process of KMPI is conducted by the Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB). The admission criteria are as follows:
- The applicant must be a female citizen of Bangladesh.
- The applicant must have passed the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or equivalent examination with a minimum GPA of 3.50 in science group.
- The applicant must have passed mathematics with a minimum grade of B.
- The applicant must apply online through the BTEB website within the specified deadline.
- The applicant must appear for an admission test conducted by BTEB.
- The applicant must secure a rank within the merit list based on the admission test score and SSC GPA.
- The applicant must choose KMPI as one of her preferences during the online counseling process.
- The applicant must pay the admission fee and complete the enrollment process after getting allocated to KMPI.
