The Dhaka Engineering Institute started the educational activities in the heart of Dhaka years ago. It is one of the oldest privet polytechnic college in Dhaka city.

Admission Eligibility
- Passed SSC Science/Humanities/Business Education/Madrasa/Vocational/Open or equivalent examination.
- Must have a GPA of 2.00 in the examination.
- Students of any age can get admission in Diploma Engineering after passing SSC and HSC.
- The admission process is conducted as per the rules by the Bangladesh Vocational Education Board.
- Passed students from HSC science stream can directly take admission in 3rd phase and HSC Vocational stream students can directly take admission in 4th phase.
