Comilla Government Women’s College is a public college in Comilla, Bangladesh established in 1960. The college is located in Comilla including its Intermediate, Honors and Masters section. It is affiliated with the National University of Bangladesh and offers courses in arts, commerce and science streams.
History
The college was founded in 1960 as Comilla Victoria College for Women with the initiative of some eminent personalities of Comilla, such as Dr. Mohammad Shahidullah, Dr. Qazi Motahar Hossain, Dr. Kazi Deen Mohammad and others. The college was renamed as Comilla Government Women’s College in 1979 and became a full-fledged government college in 1985.

Campus
The college campus covers an area of about 12 acres and has a three-storied academic building, a library, a computer lab, a science lab, a gymnasium, a hostel, a mosque and a playground. The college has about 1500 students and 60 teachers.
